Nice Guts Flyers and Lightning

I feel bad for whoever had the over in this game

Is this for real? Are the Flyers and Lightning serious with this? I think the Flyers are more at fault here; attack the net. Isn't the goal to score goals? Who cares if the other team is playing a 1-3-1? Do we have to institute a shot clock in hockey? What is this, the 1940s in basketball?

This wasn't the only incident of this. Pronger and the Flyers did this multiple times in the first period, and I'd estimate about 15-20% of the period was wasted by this stall technique. Pretty despicable if you ask me.


Obviously, I have the over in this game. Regardless, it's still annoying to watch this sort of thing.
