Top 10 Most Hated List (NFL)

Don't be jealous.
Forbes Magazine put out their list of the Top 10 most hated NFL players list today. The list had some of those that you'd expect: 1 - Vick, 3 - Big Ben, 4 - Haynesworth. However, there were many people on there that I couldn't believe. For one, Plaxico Burress was number 2. Aside from accidentally shooting himself in the leg, he really didn't do anything to harm anyone/anything else (like Ben or Vick), so I found his inclusion that high on the list kind of weird. The stigma of going to prison really drove his ranking. Also, Romo?! was on the list at 9. Romo seems like a pretty cool guy to me - he's a scratch golfer, seems like a happy go-lucky guy, married to a beauty queen... I think people are just jealous. He's had his struggles in the playoffs and makes some Favre-ian plays, but that makes him top 10 most hated?

Will the real Jay Cutler please stand up?
The one that really got me going was Jay Cutler at number 5. In the top 5 most hated! The bad rap that Cutler gets for his injury during the NFC Championship Game last year is pretty nonsensical. He was taken out of the game, had a sprained MCL, and tried coming back in on multiple occasions but couldn't plant off his leg. The guy got hurt, people just need to deal with that. You can't question the guy's toughness; he's playing with probably the worst offensive line in the league with an offensive coordinator that doesn't roll protection for him (until recent weeks). He makes some boneheaded throws but is amazingly talented; many think he has the best arm in the league. He has a winning record as a starter, is very active in the community, and has diabetes! I just don't understand the Cutler hate, I personally think the guy is a heck of a player and believe he gets way more flack than he deserves.  Maybe people are just mad at him because he shares his name with a bodybuilder?

EDIT: And don't forget, he's throwing to shitheads that can't catch the bombs he's throwing perfectly. I'm talking to you Roy Williams. Hook'em.
